Liam Hartley

Liam Hartley is an accomplished Senior Data Engineer with extensive experience in building enterprise-grade data pipelines and data warehouses, currently working at EBM Software since March 2023. As co-founder of Systematic Sports since October 2021, Liam has contributed to innovative data solutions while previously leading a team of data engineers at Sainsbury's Digital, Tech and Data from August 2020 to September 2022. At Sainsbury's, Liam was responsible for processing Nectar and sales data, as well as architecting a comprehensive data pipeline for financial data. With a background that includes roles at Schroders and prior internships, Liam possesses a robust skill set in data engineering, infrastructure as code, and data analysis, complemented by a Master’s Degree in Physics from Queen Mary University of London and a Bachelor's from the University of Miami.
