Michael Ghafoury has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Michael started their career as a Software Engineer, gaining 10 years of experience in software implementation on the Microsoft platform. Michael then worked as a Technical Team Manager and Project Delivery Manager at Brave Energy Systems, where they managed a team of software engineers and provided technical support to commercial clients.
In 2019, Michael joined Yarra Trams as a Technical Team Manager, where they temporarily filled the position to assist the PIS team in delivering passenger information and related applications. Michael then took on the role of SAP SuccessFactors Technical Delivery Lead before becoming the Manager of People Systems, where they managed HR workforce systems on the SAP SuccessFactors suite and provided support to over 2700 employees. Michael also played a crucial role in improving HRIS systems through system enhancements and the implementation of new systems and services.
Currently, Michael Ghafoury works at EBOS Group Limited as an HRIS Lead.
Michael Ghafoury completed their education in a chronological manner. In 1995, they enrolled in the Central University of Technology and pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering. Michael attended the university until 2001, when they successfully completed their degree.
Later, in 2012, Michael Ghafoury chose to further enhance their skills by enrolling in the Proteus Leadership Institute. From 2012 to 2013, they completed a Diploma of Management, specializing in Organizational Leadership.
More recently, in 2021, Michael Ghafoury began pursuing a Master of Data Science Strategy and Leadership at RMIT University. Michael is expected to complete the program in 2023.
In addition to their formal education, Michael Ghafoury obtained a Diploma of Management from the Proteus Leadership Institute in September 2013.
