Steve McHugh

Steve McHugh is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in data engineering and business intelligence. Currently serving as SVP of Technology and Engineering Director of FX at Ebury since February 2020, Steve has played a crucial role in the company’s technical strategy. Prior to this, Steve co-founded HOPTApp, overseeing the technical implementation of the Hopt app from September 2018 to June 2023. Steve’s earlier roles include Data Architect at McLagan and various positions in business intelligence at firms like Cloudpoint Ltd and Accenda. Steve began a career in technology in the early 2000s, with foundational roles as a Solution Architect at Reuters and other positions in application development and database administration. Steve holds an HNC in Civil Engineering from Croydon College.
