Dr. Shekhar Pawar

Dr. Shekhar Pawar has a diverse work experience in the field of software solutions, cybersecurity, and business domains. Dr. Shekhar is currently working as the Chief Executive Officer and Inventor of Business Domain Specific Least Cybersecurity Controls Implementation (BDSLCCI) at SecureClaw. In this role, they have developed a step-wise and business priority specific cybersecurity framework for organizations.

Prior to their current position, Dr. Pawar served as the Chief Executive Officer, Lead Auditor with Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA), and Head of Service Delivery at GrassDew IT Solutions Private Limited. Dr. Shekhar was responsible for the overall management of the company and its cybersecurity initiatives.

Dr. Shekhar also worked as a Certified Solution Partner and Sales Channel Partner at Tata Tele Business Services, providing telecommunication services and solutions.

Additionally, Dr. Pawar has served as an Item Writer - Subject Matter Expert at EC-Council, leveraging their knowledge for the betterment of the organization.

Dr. Shekhar is the author of the book "Air Team Theory: Understanding 10 Types of Team Mates and Best Practices to Succeed," which explores different types of teammates within a team.

Dr. Pawar has also been a member of Business Network International, where they actively participated in business networking activities.

Earlier in their career, they held managerial positions at Capgemini, leading multiple projects and teams. Dr. Shekhar was also involved in quality process assurance, security best practices, and mentoring team members.

Before joining Capgemini, they worked at Praxis Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer, where they held different roles and primarily worked with Microsoft technologies.

Dr. Pawar began their career as a Software Engineer at Mphasis - EDS and U-to Solutions (I) Pvt. Ltd.

Throughout their career, Dr. Shekhar Pawar has gained expertise in software development, cybersecurity, team leadership, and project management.

Dr. Shekhar Pawar's education history is as follows:

In 1999-2001, they obtained a Polytechnic Diploma in Industrial Electronics from Shreeram Polytechnic, Mumbai, MSBTE.

From 2001-2004, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics & Telecommunications from MGMCET, Mumbai University.

In 2004, they attended IIT Madras and completed a course in Digital Signal Processor & Applications (DSP & Applications Programming).

In 2014, they enrolled in the IIT Bombay - Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management for the Executive Programme in Management with a specialization in Marketing & HRM.

In 2019, Dr. Shekhar Pawar participated in the Blockchain Developer Training program at Simplilearn.

From 2019 onwards, they pursued the Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) certification from ISACA.

In 2021-2022, they completed their Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree in Cybersecurity from the Swiss School of Business and Management.

Dr. Shekhar Pawar also holds various certifications, notably including the Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification, Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH) from EC-Council University, and Certified PCI DSS V3.2.1 Implementer from TÜV SüD South Asia Pvt. Ltd.
