Avishek Bhattacharya

Avishek Bhattacharya has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Avishek started their career in 2005 as a Resident Advisor at Algonquin College. Avishek then worked as a Seasonal Marketing Intern at Gemfields PLC in 2007. After that, they served as a Business Development Representative at Direct Sales Force and later as a Senior Business Development Representative for Hewlett Packard at On Path Business Solutions. In 2012, they became the Manager of Operations at Modern Properties, where they were responsible for implementing company systems and processes. Avishek then worked as a Centre Manager at Cd'A Global Language Centre Trust, handling correspondence with clients and corporate communications. From 2015 to 2020, they worked as a Business Development Manager at Janus Worldwide, focusing on generating new clients and supporting the sales team. Following that, they worked as a Business Development Manager at Wordminds, where they developed multilingual content management strategies for clients. Currently, Avishek holds the position of Director of Business Development at EC Innovations, Inc.

Avishek Bhattacharya completed a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus in Marketing from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2005, Avishek studied at Zambia Centre for Accountancy Studies and attained the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification. Avishek also attended Lechwe Secondary Educational Trust from 1997 to 2002, where they pursued the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE). In 2020, Avishek briefly studied at Deakin University, specializing in Transforming Digital Learning through Learning Design Meets Service Design.
