Alex Groombridge

Alex Groombridge's work experience includes being the Chief Technology Officer & Cofounder at Echion Technologies Ltd since October 2017. Before that, they worked at the University of Cambridge as an Embedded Researcher from October 2018 to May 2019 and as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate from October 2017 to September 2018. Prior to that, Alex was a Technical Staff member at The National Metrology Institute of Japan, AIST from September 2011 to July 2012.

Alex Groombridge's education history includes a variety of academic achievements. In 2022, they attended Harvard Business School for executive education, specifically focusing on Strategic Negotiations: Dealmaking for the Long Term. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2017, they pursued a PhD in Nanoscience and Technology (NanoDTC) at the University of Cambridge. Alex'sresearch interests during this time predominantly revolved around Chemistry, Materials Science, and Nanotechnology. Alex began their academic journey by completing their undergraduate studies at The University of Sheffield from 2009 to 2013. Alex obtained a Master of Chemistry (MChem) degree, specializing in Chemistry with a year in Japan during this period.
