Loubna El Ouatani

Loubna El Ouatani has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 2003 with an Industrial Trainee role at Holcim, where they were responsible for QualityControl of primary and final materials, as well as the optimization of raw mixture material and the gypsum percentage of in cement. In 2004, they were a Trainee at SAMIR. In 2005, they were a Research Engineer at CNRS, as well as an Internship at CNRS-Total Feluy, where they worked on improving a commercial catalyst performances, chemical modification of commercial catalyst, sulphuration precursor oxides and hydrodesulfurization of thiophene test, and characterization of materials. From 2008 to 2020, they were a Research Scientist at Saft, where they worked on the development and improvement of Li-ion cell, as well as increasing the energy density and power and qualification of new materials. Finally, in 2020, they were Chief Product Officer and Director of Product at Echion Technologies.

Loubna El Ouatani has a diverse education history. Loubna obtained their Engineer degree in Chemistry from ENSCL in 2002-2005, followed by a Master's degree in Catalysis and Process from Ecole Centrale de Paris et de Lille + ENSCL in 2004-2005. Loubna then completed their PhD in Physical Chemistry from Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour in 2005-2008. Most recently, they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Fox School of Business at Temple University in 2014-2016, with a focus on Strategic Management, Marketing, Operations Management, Team Building & Leadership, and Enterprise Risk. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from École des Ponts Business School in 2014-2016.
