Pierre Formont

Pierre Formont is an experienced data engineer and scientist with a robust background in data analytics and machine learning. Currently serving as Lead Data Engineer at Echo Analytics since May 2022, Pierre previously held senior and data engineer roles at Ogury from March 2017 to April 2022, where responsibilities included building ETL/ELT processes and leading a development team. Prior to that, Pierre worked as a Data Scientist at Datapole, focusing on smart city analytics, and completed a postdoctoral position at Supelec, concentrating on change detection in high-resolution SAR images. With a PhD in Signal Processing and Telecommunications from Université de Rennes I, Pierre also has teaching experience and has engaged in research internships related to SAR classification and hyperspectral imaging.
