TToya H.

Toya H. has a wealth of experience in engineering and project management. TToya began their career in 2006 as an Engineering Intern at Fermilab, where they proposed a redesign of the Debuncher Beam Position Monitor down-converter board FPGA to improve throughput 300%. TToya then worked as an Electrical Engineer at Rockwell Collins from 2007 to 2011, where they developed comprehensive research and design testing services for 6 RF projects and supported 6 business proposals which were all accepted and approved. From 2011 to 2013, they were an Engineering Instructor at Project SYNCERE, where they instructed over 200 K-12 students using project based curriculum and created project based curriculum for engineering, math, science, and robotics. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as an Operations Supervisor at We Energies, where they delivered on average $450,000 worth of electricity each shift and led and developed a team of 17 represented employees while managing other groups. From 2015 to 2021, they worked as an Engineering Design Tech at ComEd, where they provided distribution design, project management, and customer support for commercial services. TToya also managed the safe execution of power facility installations, relocations, and removals. Since 2021, they have been working as an Application Engineer at Echodyne and as a Project Manager at HBK Engineering, LLC. Additionally, they have been a Signal Officer in the United States Army Reserve since 2009, where they are responsible for operation, maintenance, and inventory of $10 million worth of equipment and keeps 900+ soldiers connected by managing all radio, phone, and LAN services.

Toya H. obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago between 2000 and 2007. TToya then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Marketing from Trident University International between 2011 and 2014. Additionally, they have a Security + certification from CompTIA.
