Lindsay Booker

Senior Director, Communications at Echoing Green

Lindsay leads the communications efforts at Echoing Green, creating and implementing storytelling and engagement strategies to connect audiences with the organization's mission to build a just and sustainable world.

Bringing a focus on advancing racial equity to their work, Lindsay leads the communications team to steward Echoing Green's brand, amplify its thought leadership, and design meaningful experiences for its growing global community. With nearly 15 years of experience working with nonprofits and startups to develop communications strategies, Lindsay believes that storytelling is a crucial tool for building power and driving positive change.

Before joining Echoing Green, she oversaw communications at Cool Culture, a New York nonprofit that partners with families, schools, and museums to expand access to cultural opportunities citywide and deepen community and family connections. Lindsay graduated from Princeton University, where she earned her bachelor's in sociology with a certificate in African American Studies. Lindsay has a deep appreciation for curation, inquiry, and information hierarchy in her approach to her work, which likely stems from being raised by an artist and her early desire to work in public libraries. She enjoys exploring New York's many galleries, visiting donut shops for old-fashioned glazed donuts, and spending time with her family on their farm in Arkansas.
