Mazen Shakeel, FCIA, FSA, is a seasoned professional in the investment consulting and retirement solutions sector, currently serving as Senior Director of Investment Consulting at Eckler Ltd. since April 2024. Previously, Mazen held significant roles at LifeWorks (acquired by TELUS Health) from 2019 to 2023, leading the Investment and Risk Practice within the Retirement and Benefits Solutions business, overseeing a national team with a responsibility for over $30 billion in client assets. Prior to that, Mazen served as Vice President of Market Development and Vice President at the International Investment Centre at Sun Life Financial, contributing to Canada's largest group retirement business with substantial assets under management. Mazen's career began at Aon, where over 24 years were spent advancing through various leadership roles in the Retirement Practice. Mazen holds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from the University of Toronto.
