Megan Jaimes Wery is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sustainability and education innovation. Currently serving as a Senior Associate in Education Innovation Ventures at ECMC Foundation since June 2023, Megan previously held senior and associate roles focused on sustainability at Amplify Capital from May 2020 to February 2023. Earlier in the career, Megan worked in the Sustainability Department at the University of Toronto Mississauga as a Marketing Coordinator and Graphic Designer from October 2019 to May 2021. Megan's engineering expertise was developed over several years at Sherwood Design Engineers, where roles included Design Engineer I, II, and III from February 2016 to July 2019, and at Carlson, Barbee & Gibson, Inc. as a Project Engineer from January 2015 to January 2016. Additional experience includes a position as a Design Engineer at RITOCH-POWELL & Associates and as an AmeriCorps Volunteer Coordinator at Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles. Megan earned a Master of Science in Sustainability Management from the University of Toronto in 2021 and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Loyola Marymount University in 2012.
