Saúl Valdez

Saúl Valdez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and philanthropic consulting. Currently serving as a Senior Program Officer at ECMC Foundation since August 2018, Saúl oversees the allocation of significant funding to organizations aimed at transforming higher education. Previously, as a Philanthropic Services Associate Advisor at Seattle Foundation, Saúl managed a substantial donor portfolio and led initiatives through the Youth Grantmaking Board. Other notable roles include serving as a Student Success Analyst with Education Pioneers, a Loaned Executive at United Way of King County, and a High School Program Manager at the Latin American Association. Saúl holds a Master of Public Administration and a Nonprofit Management Certificate from the University of Washington, along with dual Bachelor’s degrees in International Business and Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
