Jonathan Rieck

Jonathan Rieck is the Head of the Acute Diagnostic Unit at the Assuta Hospital Tel Aviv, Israel. Previously served as a senior physician in the Emergency Room of the Chaim Sheba Medical Center (one of the largest in Israel) and was one of the pioneers in the field in Israel, and was granted specialist status with the founding of the specialization in Israel. From 2003 up to 2011 served as the Deputy Director and “stand in” Head of the Emergency Department at the Sheba Medical Center. A long-standing affinity for sports, as a top class athlete, and as a physician to elite soldiers (during twenty years of reserve service) and the Hapoel Tel Aviv Football Club, over the last eight years. Has initiated within these frameworks new approaches to maintaining health and preventing injuries, and has worked in close association with other professionals in the field of sports training.
