A Z M Abdul Quayum's work experience begins with their current role as a Software Engineer QA at ecobee since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Automation Test Analyst at RBC from April 2018 to September 2021. From May 2017 to February 2018, they were employed as a Software Engineer in Test at Escenic AS. Before that, they held the position of Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer at The Jaxara It Ltd from January 2016 to April 2017, and as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer from June 2012 to December 2015. A Z M Abdul worked as an SQA at ServicEngine from September 2011 to May 2012 and as a Support Engg. FONOC at Link3 Technologies Ltd. from February 2011 to September 2011.

A Z M Abdul Quayum began their education at Police Line School, where they obtained a Secondary School Certificate in Science. Afterwards, they attended B A F Shaheen College, Jessore from 2001 to 2003 and earned a Higher Secondary School certificate in Science. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Dhaka from 2005 to 2009, where they pursued a B.Sc. Hons degree in Applied Physics Electronics & Communication Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Quayum has obtained several certifications. In 2018, they achieved the ISTQB Foundation Level certification from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board. In 2018, they also completed a course on Selenium Webdriver from Udemy. In 2019, they completed the "Learn Python: Build a Virtual Assistant" course from Udemy. In 2022, they obtained a Python (Basic) Certificate from HackerRank as well as a certification in SQL Basic. In 2022, they furthered their skills by completing the "Kubernetes for the Absolute Beginners - Hands-on" course from Udemy. Most recently, in 2023, they completed the "Getting Started with Google Kubernetes Engine" course from Coursera.
