Faranak Sharifi has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2015, they worked as an Admission's Associate at Canada's Wonderland. From 2016 to 2017, they served as a Customer Experience Representative at Indigo Books & Music, focusing on customer service and product knowledge. In 2018, they worked as a Programming Instructor at Kids Great Minds, teaching young adults programming languages and concepts. Faranak also served as a Teaching Assistant for Linear Algebra at Queen's University during the same year. In 2019, Faranak held two roles at Queen's University, working as a Teaching Assistant for Web Development and Creative Entrepreneurship. Faranak also interned at the Dunin-Deshpande Queen's Innovation Centre, where they co-founded a venture called Cromble and won a pitch competition prize. In 2020, they became a Site Reliability Engineer Intern at ecobee, eventually transitioning to an Associate Site Reliability Engineer role in 2021. Faranak then attended Queen's University from 2017 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor of Computing degree in the field of Software.
