Amy Dritz has held a variety of roles in sustainability and design. In 2021, they became Co-Founder and COO of Ecocrumb, a Techstars Seattle Accelerator portfolio company that helps businesses track and manage their environmental and social impacts. From 2019-2021, they served as Chair of the Environmental Quality and Energy Commission for the City of Fridley, advising the City Council on a broad range of environmental policies and programs. From 2017-2019, they were a Design Partner at Humbleweed Creative, LLC, a boutique design agency that helps organizations amplify their sustainability voice. During this time, they also worked as a Sustainable Design Strategist at BUOY | Sustainable Strategy + Design, helping small businesses integrate sustainability into their products, services, and operations. In 2017, they were Coordinator for the Litter Be Gone program and a Board Member at the Alliance for Sustainability. From 2012-2017, they were a Senior Graphic Designer at Metro Transit, leading design and brand management of marketing and communications projects. Amy was also Associate Director of Sustainable Design at AIGA Minnesota from 2012-2017, creating opportunities for graphic designers to learn about sustainable design. Finally, from 2000-2012, they were a Graphic Designer at Three Rivers Park District, where they implemented and maintained brand standards and developed sustainable printing standards.
Amy Dritz received their Master of Arts (MA) in Sustainable Design from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2014. Prior to that, they obtained their BFA in Art/Graphic Design from Southwest Minnesota State University in 1999.
