Shelby Hang

Shelby serves as the lead surveyor and account manager for Ecogy's southern projects. Shelby works to qualify potential distributed generation projects as feasible, then drives site engineering through to a shovel-ready project. In addition, Shelby works to ensure their partners are kept up to speed on project milestones and achievements while confirming Ecogy is going the extra mile every step of the way. His responsibilities include site qualification and surveying, coordination between engineering and their partners, as well as client management from project inception through operation.

Prior to joining Ecogy, Shelby worked on an affordable housing project called Community Rebuilds which aimed to bring sustainable green housing to lower-income residents in Mt. Crested Butte, CO. Shelby’s team oversaw the planning and development of the first three-story strawbale home in the area, meeting current NSTAR standards for green housing.
