Sarah Munro, MPH, possesses extensive experience in research and public health. Currently serving as a Research Scientist at EcoHealth Alliance since October 2020, Sarah contributes to various projects within the organization. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the Mailman School of Public Health Center for Infection and Immunity, where responsibilities involved laboratory work and support for viral screening projects. Sarah also held positions as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for graduate courses in Molecular Toxicology and Determinants of Health at Columbia University. Earlier, a Stead Scholar experience at the Arkansas Department of Health focused on mosquito surveillance in zoonotic disease research. Sarah earned a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Toxicology from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from the College of Charleston.
