Jacob Fanning is an experienced professional specializing in member engagement and literacy development. Currently serving as a Member Engagement Specialist and previously as a Member Relations Associate at Economic Mobility Pathways (EMPath), Jacob has developed a strong proficiency in community interaction and support. Prior experience includes a summer internship at Mil Milagros, Inc., where Jacob contributed to the creation of educational and administrative policy materials. As a Literacy Specialist with the Peace Corps, Jacob supported literacy initiatives and training in Western Samoa. Previous roles as an English Language Instructor at AEON Corporation in Japan and a Second Language Specialist with Teach Thailand Corps in Thailand further enhanced Jacob's educational expertise. Jacob holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable International Development from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University and a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from Davidson College.
