Hillary Alvarez, MPH, CHES, currently serves as a CAPP Educator/Project Coordinator at the Economic Opportunity Council of Suffolk, Inc. since August 2023. Previously, Hillary worked as the PACT Program Coordinator at YES Community Counseling Center, leading initiatives to mitigate substance misuse among youth and facilitating training for responsible beverage service. Other roles included Health Educator at the Maurer Foundation for breast health education, contributing to educational programs in various settings, and an intern with the Long Island Safer Bars Initiative addressing sexual violence prevention. Experience also encompasses positions at Stony Brook University Hospital and Planned Parenthood, where Hillary supported community health initiatives and patient services. Hillary holds a Master of Public Health in Community Health and Preventive Medicine from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from the State University of New York Cortland.
