Hong Li

Hong Li has a strong background in cloud computing and technology development. They began their career as a Cloud & IoT Solution Intern at China Mobile Phones in 2018. They then moved on to McMaster University, where they worked as a Research Assistant in Estimation, Tracking, and Fusion (E.T.F.) from 2019 to 2021, and as a Teaching Assistant from 2020 to 2021. In 2021, they joined CaseWare International Inc. as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, specializing in the development and integration of cloud-native technologies on the AWS platform. They focused on building and delivering cloud-based audit and accounting software, working in an Agile (Scrum) environment. Most recently, in 2023, they joined Ecopia AI as a Cloud Security Engineer.

Hong Li completed a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from McMaster University from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in IoT (Internet of Things) Engineering from Chongqing University of Post and Telecommunications, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. In addition to their formal education, Hong Li has acquired several certifications, including the CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer from The Linux Foundation in December 2021, the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate from HashiCorp in February 2022, the AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2020, and the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate, also from AWS, in June 2020.
