Erik van Wilsum

Erik van Wilsum has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries and roles. Erik is currently working at Ecorus as GeschäftFuhrer (MD) Germany & Project Leader EU. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Leader Europe at the same company.

From 2014 to 2023, Erik worked at vanW Consulting & Fundatoris as an Interim Management Consultant, Project leader-manager, and Advisor.

Erik also served as a Senior Consultant at I-SEC International Security from 2021 to 2022.

In 2020, Erik worked as the Interim CEO Europe & ME at Kinseed, where they focused on digital transformation for health providers.

At Martek Marine Ltd, they held the position of Head of CUAS from 2018 to 2020, leading the development of a drone detection and defeat system.

Prior to that, Erik was the Managing Director Benelux at Geerkens Energiesysteme GmbH from 2014 to 2016.

Erik started their career at Mastervolt in 2010, where they held various roles including Business Development & Sales Manager RoW and Commercial Manager APAC, focusing on power systems and energy storage solutions.

Before Mastervolt, Erik worked at Terberg Techniek as a Sales & Marketing Manager (Global) from 2006 to 2010.

Erik van Wilsum's education history includes a range of degrees and certifications in various fields. In 1982, they completed a Bachelor's degree at CIOS Overveen in an unspecified field of study. From 1987 to 1993, they pursued a Bachelor and Master of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Fysiotherapie/Fysiotherapeut from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. In the same period, they also obtained a Master's degree in Sportwetenschappen, fysiologie en bewegingsleer from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam). In 2004, Erik pursued a (mini) MBA from Management Centre Europe (MCE), specializing in Strategy, Leadership, and Sales & Marketing Management. Lastly, in 2009 to 2010, they underwent Leadership Management training at ISA Training & Coaching.
