Rene Garcia-Evans

Rene Garcia-Evans has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies.

At Ecotricity, Rene currently serves as the Head of Talent. Prior to this role, they held positions as a Talent Manager and a People Learning Specialist from 2018 to 2020.

Before joining Ecotricity, Rene worked at Allianz Insurance for over a decade. Their roles at Allianz included Training and Development Consultant, Customer Experience Analyst (secondment), Claims Training & Development Team Leader, Training Coordinator for Graduates & Leadership, and Retail Operations Trainer.

Rene also held a role as a Forum member at Jigsaw Training Forum from 2007 to 2011.

Earlier in their career, Rene worked at Danren Computer Services as an Office Manager in 2007 and at Capita as a Training Coordinator from 2005 to 2007.

Their first professional experience was as a Training Executive at First Choice Holidays from 1997 to 2004.

Rene Garcia-Evans obtained a Master's degree in English Language and Literature from the Universidad de Oviedo, where they studied from 1990 to 1995.
