Amanda Xiaoqing Mao, PhD, serves as the Scientific Director for China at Edanz Group, overseeing international clinical trials for Australian sponsors. With extensive experience in bilingual Chinese project management and medical communication, Amanda co-founded Acurit Medical Communications Pty Ltd, providing consulting services in the life sciences sector. Amanda's roles have included regulatory writing at Bionomics Ltd, medical compliance leadership at Pfizer, and clinical research leadership at Biostime Group. Amanda has also actively contributed to health policy discussions as a member of the Australia China Business Council's Health and Medical Research Working Group. Amanda holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Nutrition from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
