Sarah Williams is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in scientific editing and veterinary fundraising. Currently serving as the PetSavers fundraising and grant awards manager and PetSavers coordinator at the British Small Animal Veterinary Association since August 2019, Sarah leads initiatives to raise funds for veterinary clinical research projects. Sarah's editing expertise is demonstrated through a long tenure as a senior science editor at Edanz, where guidance is provided to non-native English authors in life sciences and medicine. Previous roles include co-founding OxTERMS, a scientific editing business aimed at the Asian market, and working as a freelance scientific editor. Sarah holds a PhD in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science from the University of Oxford, where seminal research focused on innovative gene therapy techniques. A Bachelor's degree in Biology was also earned from the University of Oxford, supplemented by earlier education at Pate's Grammar School in Cheltenham.
