Joan Kim

Joan Kim is the Vice President of Strategy at New York City Economic Development Corporation, with previous experience as a Senior Vice President at Avente Capital Management. They also held positions such as a Strategist at SYPartners and Business Strategist at Continuum. Joan is a co-founder and director of 826NYC/Brooklyn Superhero Supply Company, where they successfully grew the organization and inspired the lives of thousands of students annually. Prior to this, Joan worked as a Senior Editor at Lightbulb Press and as a Foreign Specialist at Foreign Affairs College. They earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Princeton University and a Master of Business Administration from Yale University.
