Phanindranath Kakarla

Phanindranath Kakarla has a diverse range of work experience in the financial services industry. Starting in 1992, they worked as a Senior Manager at HSBC for 12 years. Phanindranath then moved on to become the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at ING Investment Management Ltd from 2004 to 2005. From 2006 to 2007, they served as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at JPMorgan Chase. Kakarla then joined Deutsche Bank - Asia Pacific Head Office, where they held the positions of Dy Head & COO, Finance and Finance Director, Infrastructure, Asia Pacific from 2007 to 2012. Phanindranath also worked as an Independent Consultant from 2012 to 2014, providing senior subject matter expertise for strategic execution of business transformation projects. Since 2015, Kakarla has been with Edelweiss Financial Services Limited, where they have held various roles including Group Head of HR & Head of Corporate Services Group, Head of Corporate Services Group, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer - ECL Finance Ltd, Director - Edelweiss Retail Finance Ltd, and Managing Director - ECL Finance Ltd.

Phanindranath Kakarla holds an MBA (PGDM) degree in Finance & Systems from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. Phanindranath also has a B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Prior to these studies, they attended Rishi Valley School.
