Hylana Almeida has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Hylana started their career in 2007 as a B2B Advertising Sales & Events Coordinator at GDS International, where they prospecting and cold called C-level IT executives to develop and manage relationships. Hylana then worked as a Licensed Real Estate Agent at Platinum Properties from 2010 to 2011. In 2012, they became an Executive Recruiter at Objective Solutions International, where they proactively sourced passive candidates for a management consulting client.

Hylana also served as the Director of Corporate Talent Acquisition at Eden Technologies from 2019 to 2021, managing internal recruitment teams and implementing hiring and training procedures.
Most recently, Hylana worked at ReadyWorks as the Vice President of Talent Management from 2020 to present. Hylana played a key role in leveraging AI and Intelligent Automation to orchestrate complex IT infrastructure programs faster and with less risk. Hylana utilized their expertise in talent management and corporate recruiting to drive innovation and make IT migrations and transformations easier for organizations.
Hylana Almeida's education history begins in 2001 when they attended Mount Ida College for a year, focusing on Fashion Design & Merchandising. Hylana then transferred to Western Connecticut State University from 2002 to 2005 to study Business Administration Marketing, although they did not obtain a degree from this institution.
In 2015, Hylana pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communications at Penn State World Campus, completing their studies in 2017.
