Mathias Puig

Mathias Puig currently serves as a Green Coffee Jr. Trader at ED&F Man's Volcafe France & Iberia, a leading international green coffee trading company, starting in October 2017. Responsibilities include hedging physical purchases and sales, Forex transactions, price fixing contracts, and conducting market analysis for clients. Additionally, Mathias is involved in commercial and sales activities and manages communication and marketing tasks, such as animating the Volcafe France website and organizing annual coffee events. Previous experience includes roles in business development at Rainforest Agro SDN BHD, leading project engineering at Mafipro Sdn Bhd, and internships in sensory evaluation of green coffee at Nestlé Nespresso, farm management at Casa Grande de Xanceda, and laboratory assistance at IRD. Mathias holds a Master's degree in Agricultural and Food Products Processing from L'Institut Agro Montpellier and a Bachelor's degree in Botany/Plant Biology from the University of Montpellier.
