Sohinaz Sotoudeh

Sohinaz Sotoudeh's work experience begins with their role as Vice President - West Origination and Power Marketing at EDF Renewables North America, starting in January 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Director, Origination and Power Marketing at the same company from May 2020 to January 2023. Before joining EDF Renewables, Sohinaz served as Director of Valuation and Transactions Team from August 2015 to May 2020.

Prior to their time at EDF Renewables, Sohinaz worked as VP Business Development at Ogin Inc, a wind turbine technology company, from July 2013 to July 2015. Sohinaz also held the position of Director of Corporate Development at Ogin Inc from September 2009 to July 2013.

Before joining Ogin Inc, Sohinaz co-founded NewWave Capital Partners in 2007 and worked as a Managing Director until August 2009. NewWave focused on providing strategic and financial advisory services to small and medium-sized companies.

Earlier in their career, Sohinaz worked at Moore, Clayton & Co. as a Senior Managing Director. During their tenure from 2003 to 2006, they managed a portfolio of private equity assets and served as a team leader for the media and technology business unit. Sohinaz also played a role in the acquisition of a closed-end NYSE listed fund for the company.

Sohinaz began their career at GE Equity where they worked as a Vice President from 1999 to 2003.
