Luis Hernandez

Luis Hernandez has extensive experience in IT operations and security, currently serving as VP of IT Operations at EDF Trading since December 2015. Prior to this role, Luis worked at NRG Energy from April 2002 to December 2015, holding positions such as IT Security Manager, Lead Security Engineer, Information Security Analyst III, and Technical Analyst III, where responsibilities included managing retail IT security, PCI compliance, and designing secure infrastructures. Luis's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Security Management for Executives and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Houston-Downtown, as well as an Associate's Degree in Computer Systems Occupational Technology from MTI College of Business and Technology.
