Uzzal Podder

Uzzal Podder has a diverse background in machine learning, computer vision, and software engineering. Uzzal is currently a Machine Learning Engineer at Edgecortix since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at CHOWA GIKEN Corporation as a Computer Vision Research Engineer from December 2018 to May 2022. In this role, they gained experience in deep learning-based computer vision tasks and was proficient in Pytorch, Tensorflow(Keras), and OpenCV. Before that, Uzzal was a Research Assistant at Hokkaido University from December 2020 to March 2021, where they conducted statistical analysis and comparison of research papers on computer vision. Uzzal also has experience as a Software Engineer at Divine IT Limited from November 2017 to September 2018, where they focused on software development, RESTful API designing, and database management.

Uzzal Podder completed their education at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University (BSMRSTU) in Gopalganj. Uzzal attended the university from 2013 to 2017 and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Uzzal Podder has completed several certifications on various topics related to machine learning and neural networks. These certifications were obtained from Coursera, with the courses completed in different months of 2019. The certifications include "Sequence Models," "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," "Neural Networks and Deep Learning," "Structuring Machine Learning Projects," and "Convolutional Neural Networks."
