Sharath Devineni

Sharath Devineni has an extensive work experience spanning over 10 years. In 2010, they started their career as an Associate at IndigoEdge Management Consultancy Pvt Ltd where they worked with companies across various sectors and specialized in Business Plan Creation, Financial Modeling, and Early Stage Fund-Raising. In 2012, they joined Simpa Networks as a Consultant and Engineer and was part of the initial team that served for the energy poor in rural India. Sharath worked on customer behavioral surveys, site installations, data monitoring, recruiting, building a team of service engineers and technicians, product quality assessment, and building relationships with early customers. In 2016, Sharath became a Community Volunteer at Sustainability Drinks Bangalore where they hosted interesting speakers and met in a cozy, stimulating atmosphere. In 2017, they became a Core Committee Member at CII - Indian Green Building Council (IGBC). In 2021, they joined SunEdison as Business Head - Karnataka and explored opportunities to leverage the Solarify platform to help larger Solar EPCs reduce their customer acquisition costs. Finally, in 2022, they became Business Head at EdgeGrid, a climate-tech digital platform which enables business/building owners to earn new income and make their buildings green and sustainable.

Sharath Devineni obtained a B.E from RV College Of Engineering between 2006 and 2010. In 2015, they completed Professional Continuing Education from HeatSpring in Solar Design & Installation. Sharath also attended The Oxford School, Bangalore.
