Shannon Johnson M.ed.

Shannon Johnson, M.Ed., is an experienced educator currently serving as a 6th Grade ELAR Classroom Teacher at Edgewood ISD since June 2014. In addition to teaching, Shannon operates as a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant, providing personalized customer service and skincare consultations. Previous roles include Academic Success Coordinator at Howard Payne University, where responsibilities included peer tutor training and student consultation, and Reading and Language Arts Teacher at Amarillo Independent School District, achieving significant improvements in student reading skills. Shannon also contributed as a secretary for the West Central Texas Career Consortium from 2012 to 2013. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction (TESOL) from Concordia University-Portland and a Master of Education in Student Affairs from Regent University.
