Kevin Schneider

Kevin Schneider is an accomplished bioinformatics researcher currently affiliated with the Buck Institute for Research on Aging since January 2023, focusing on combating age-related diseases. Kevin has a robust background in data science, holding multiple positions at Edifice Health, Inc. since September 2020, including Bioinformatics Consultant, Executive Director of Data Science, and Director of Data Science. Previous roles include Research Scientist in Bioinformatics at Sound Agriculture from April 2018 to April 2020, and a postdoctoral researcher as well as graduate research associate at the University of Hawaii at Manoa from September 2005 to March 2018. Kevin earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Biology and Bioengineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2012, and holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Bioinformatics and Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz, obtained in 2005.
