Elena Prokofieva

Elena Prokofieva has extensive experience in acoustics and audio engineering, beginning with a PhD from the University of Bradford in 2003. Elena has served as a Lecturer at Edinburgh Napier University since 2010, where teaching focuses on Building Acoustics, Building Standards, and Building Services. Concurrently, Elena has held positions as an Acoustic Consultant and Researcher at the Robin Mackenzie Partnership from 2014 to 2023. Elena's involvement with AES Scotland includes serving as Chair and currently as a member of the Event Committee, contributing to the networking and collaboration of audio engineers in Scotland. Previous experience includes roles at Linn Products Ltd as an Acoustic Engineer and project management for the Low Carbon Building Technologies Gateway project.
