Hari Nair

Hari Nair is a distinguished design strategist and thought leader with extensive experience in industrial design and design management. Currently serving as the CEO and Chief Design Officer at Design For Winning, and as a Professor at Savannah College of Art and Design, Nair also contributes to the Edison Awards Steering Committee and holds a board position with the Spark Design & Architecture Awards. Previously, Nair held various leadership roles at Whirlpool Corporation, including Chief Design Officer and Global Director of the Advanced Design Studio, where significant product innovations were introduced for the Asian and global markets. Nair's earlier career includes positions at TechMediator, Emerson College, Rhode Island School of Design, and the University of Cincinnati, where impactful contributions to new media education and design practices were made. Nair holds master's degrees from both Syracuse University and the Indian Institute of Technology, as well as a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kerala.
