Sergej Mahnovski

Sergej Mahnovski serves as the Managing Director of Strategy, Technology, and Innovation at Edison International since May 2016, leading teams in Corporate Ventures, Strategic Planning, and Technology Strategy. Previously, Sergej held roles including Director of Corporate Development and Innovation at Edison International, where the focus was on early stage investments in clean energy and e-mobility. Additional board positions include serving as Board Observer for Infravision, Forum Mobility, and Element Energy, Inc., and formerly as an Independent Director for AMPLY Power, Inc. Sergej's extensive experience includes directing the Utility of the Future team at Consolidated Edison, teaching as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Columbia University, and leading sustainability initiatives for New York City under Mayor Bloomberg. With previous advisory experience at IHS Markit and RAND, Sergej holds degrees from Stanford University and the University of California, Berkeley, culminating in a Ph.D. in Policy Analysis from the Pardee RAND Graduate School.
