Mario Gentile

Mario Gentile has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning across various companies and roles. Mario started their career at Italtel as an Analyst Programmer, where they were responsible for software selection and customization. Mario then joined Engineering Ingegneria Informatica Spa as an Analyst Programmer before moving on to Accenture, where they worked as an IT Manager.

Afterwards, Mario joined A2A, where they held several positions including Trading and Generation IT Manager, Post Sales IT Manager, Head of Billing and Credit Management IT Business Unit, and Digital Innovation Officer. In their role as a Digital Innovation Officer, they focused on market scouting, business case definition, and proof of concept realization.

Following their time at A2A, Mario worked at Zuora as a Pre Sales Director for Italy. Mario was responsible for following prospects from the discovery phase through the requirement analysis to the solution design and proposal.

Later, they joined Plenitude as the Head of Application Support, IT Operation Officer, and Chief Information Officer Iberia. In each role, they had responsibilities related to application and infrastructure management, proactive maintenance, and building an efficient IT structure.

Currently, Mario is working at Edison Energia as the Head of ICT Demand and Delivery.

Mario Gentile completed their education from 1996 to 2004 at the Università degli Studi di Palermo, earning a degree in Computer Engineering. Mario also obtained the certification of "Zuora certified administrator" from Zuora in January 2018.
