Melanie C. Brooks

Melanie C. Brooks is an accomplished educational leader currently serving as Associate Professor of Educational Leadership and Associate Dean for Postgraduate Studies at Edith Cowan University since February 2022. Previously, Melanie held the position of Senior Lecturer in Educational Leadership at Monash University from January 2016 to February 2022 and was a Fulbright Senior Scholar with the U.S. Fulbright Commission in 2015. Melanie's academic career includes roles as Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership at the University of Idaho Boise and Iowa State University, as well as University Librarian at Auburn University and Florida State University. Melanie's educational background includes a PhD in International and Comparative Education, an MEd in Secondary Education, an MA in Library and Information Science, and a BA in English Language and Literature, all from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
