Michael Hain

Michael Hain has held various prominent roles in the legal and business sectors since the early 1990s. Currently serving as Of Counsel and previously as Partner at K&L Gates, Michael leads the Ethical Supply Chain and Modern Slavery Group in the Perth office. As a Governor on the Council of Governors for the American Chamber of Commerce in Western Australia, Michael provides strategic guidance. Additionally, Michael contributes to the Edith Cowan University School of Business & Law Advisory Board, offering high-level input on academic programs. A dedicated pro bono volunteer for Dress for Success Western Australia, Michael supports disadvantaged women in securing employment. Michael's extensive professional journey includes past positions at Corrs Chambers Westgarth, Hain Barristers & Solicitors, and King & Wood Mallesons. Michael holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours from The University of Western Australia, along with a Diploma in Energy and Mining Law.
