Michelle Rutherford

Michelle Rutherford has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Michelle began their career in 2001 as a Science Teacher at Stafford County Public Schools. From 2004 to 2010, they worked at Dorchester School District 2, where they held positions such as Science Teacher and Instructional Technology Coordinator. In 2010, they joined Apex Learning as the Director of Implementation Design and later became the National Director of Success Management, a role they held until 2021. Currently, they are working at Edmentum as the Senior Director of Customer Success and recently transitioned to the role of Vice President of Customer Success in February 2022.

Michelle Rutherford earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biology Teacher Education from the University of North Florida, where they studied from 1999 to 2001. Michelle later pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Instructional Technology from Lesley University, completing their studies from 2008 to 2010. In 2007, Michelle obtained the certification of National Board Certified Teacher in Science/Adolescence and Young Adulthood from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards.
