Yap Wee Pin

Yap Wee Pin has extensive experience in product development and management in the smart metering industry, currently serving as the AVP of Product Development AA EMEA at EDMI Limited since September 2014. In previous roles, Yap led the design and manufacturing teams in China, managed product specifications and market requirements, and directed global technical support, showcasing a strong background in technical and customer service management. Earlier career experiences at EDMI Ltd included positions such as VP of Customer Service and Software Testing Manager, along with a tenure as Managing Director at Happy Bricks Pte Ltd. Yap holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Leeds and has a solid foundational education from Singapore Polytechnic and Anglican High School.
