Dana Eklics

Dana Eklics, CCDP, currently serves as the Manager of Employment and Training Programs at the Edmonton Newcomer Centre, where oversight includes multiple employment and training initiatives aimed at supporting newcomers to Canada. With a background in career development, Dana has built a dynamic team and has successfully facilitated strategic planning, internal training, and participant coaching across various roles, including Team Lead and Career Practitioner. Previous experience includes positions at Africa Centre and Lives in Transition, focusing on empowering individuals through tailored career guidance and job readiness skills. Dana's educational credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Developmental and Child Psychology from the University of Windsor and a Child and Youth Worker diploma from St. Clair College.
