Christian Steinmetz Eit

Christian Steinmetz, EIT, is a skilled manufacturing engineer currently employed at O & S RESEARCH, INC, since April 2024. Previously, Christian held the position of Assembly Manager at Edmund Optics from February 2021, as well as a Mechanical Engineer role at O & S Research from August 2015 to January 2021. Christian's background includes experience as a Research and Development Mechanical Engineer at MILSPRAY Military Technologies, focusing on prototype ballistic resistant materials and assemblies, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at Rowan University, where design and construction of a magnetron sputtering chamber for thin film material science research was conducted. Christian also gained experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, synthesizing and characterizing MAX Phase thin films. Christian holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Physics Photonics, both from Rowan University.
