Matthew Mello has a diverse work experience starting in 2005 with Herb Connolly Auto Group, where they served as a BDC Manager/e-Commerce Director until 2009. Matthew then joined Honda Village as a Process & Training Director from 2009 to 2011. In 2012, they joined Bernardi's Acura of Boston as a Sales & Leasing Consultant before transitioning to the role of Internet Sales Manager later that year. In 2014, they became the New Car Sales Manager at Wagner Mercedes-Benz of Shrewsbury. In 2015, they joined Danville Toyota as a Digital Strategy Director. Matthew currently works at Edmunds, where they initially served as an Account Executive from 2017 to 2018, then transitioned to the role of Relationship Manager until 2020. Currently, they are working as an Account Executive.

Matthew Mello attended UMass Boston from 1997 to 2001, where they studied MSIS/IT. Prior to this, from 1991 to 1994, they attended Hartwick College, although their field of study is unknown.
