David Arevalo

David Arevalo has a diverse work experience in software development and engineering roles. David is currently working as a Lead Engineer at eDreams ODIGEO, where they lead and mentors a team of back-end engineers and provides technical support. Prior to this, they worked as a Tech Lead Engineer at Virtualcave, where they led the development of custom booking engines and transactional microservice cloud solutions. David also worked as a Senior Software Developer at Cloud Worldwide Services, where they were involved in the development of a cloud recording call solution. Additionally, David has experience as a Lead Software Developer and Software Developer at Jaguar Land Rover Ireland, where they led the development of C# .NET applications for ADAS and Autonomous Driving. David co-founded Argare Team and developed Android apps from scratch. David also worked as a Software Development Engineer at INSTER Tecnología y Comunicaciones, where they developed embedded systems for satellite positioning. Prior to their career in software development, David worked as a music teacher at música.

David Arevalo obtained a degree in Industrial and Automation Electronics Engineering from Universitat de les Illes Balears in 2017. David also completed a Self-managing Leadership program at Oxford Leadership Academy in the same year. From 2016 to 2017, David pursued expertise in Entrepreneurship through the Santander X Explorer program. Prior to that, they completed their professional studies in Violoncello at Conservatorio Illes Balears from 1999 to 2013. David also holds various certifications, including AWS Certified Developer - Associate, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation Level. David has acquired additional certifications in domains such as Docker, Kubernetes, TDD, eXtreme Programming, and more from CodelyTV.
