Antti Ylinen

Antti Ylinen is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in simulation and structural dynamics. Currently serving as a Senior Application Engineer at EDRMedeso Simulation since April 2020, Antti previously held positions as a Research Engineer at Patria Land Systems Oy and as an Engineer in Structural Dynamics at FS Dynamics. Antti's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering Mechanics and a Master of Science in Engineering Mechanics from Tampere University of Technology, where doctoral research focused on modeling hydraulic cylinders using a non-linear finite element method. Antti also has research experience from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the University of Rijeka and has contributed to the analysis of offshore structures during a trainee position at Technip Offshore Finland Oy.
