Newton Myvett, MBA, PhD Candidate has a diverse and extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Newton began their career in 2003 as the Vice President/Senior Director of Admissions at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, where they directed student recruitment and marketing initiatives. Newton then held positions at The Art Institute of Atlanta as the Vice President/Senior Director of Admissions and at The Art Institute of Phoenix as the Interim President.
In 2009, Newton became the President of The Art Institute of Austin, where they directed all campus operations and focused on exceeding performance and financial objectives. Newton also served as the Vice President of Admissions for The Art Institute system of schools from 2010 to 2012, overseeing admissions operations and ensuring compliance with federal regulations.
From 2013 to 2019, Newton served as the Regional President/President/Director of Sales Operations for the Art Institute of Atlanta and its branch campuses. In this role, they were responsible for the overall operation and effectiveness of the campuses, managing academics, admissions, marketing, public relations, and diversity and inclusion teams to achieve growth targets.
In 2020, Newton became the President of the All For One Foundation, where they had overall strategic and operational responsibility for the organization. Newton managed staff, budget, development, public relations, and delivery of programs, while establishing effective relationships with stakeholders and implementing the strategic visioning plan.
Since 2022, Newton has been the President of Education Affiliates, overseeing the overall operations and effectiveness of the campus. Newton is responsible for academics, admissions, marketing, and public relations, achieving campus growth and persistence. Newton has also led the college through reaccreditation and improved campus-wide retention rates.
Throughout their career, Newton has demonstrated strong leadership skills, financial management abilities, and a focus on student success and growth.
Newton Myvett earned their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Administration from Kaplan University from 2009 to 2011. Newton then pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration from Purdue University - The Graduate School, which they completed from 2018 to 2020. Furthermore, they are currently a PhD candidate at Purdue Global Law School, specializing in Law.
